Smoothie Recipes Galore

I’m halfway through my 30 day smoothie challenge and feel amazing! So many compliments have come my way lately about looking healthy. I take excellent care of my skin but apparently nothing makes you glow like great nutrition! A  handful of cherries and a bunch of kale is seriously SO much cheaper than the stuff I slather on my face every day (be religious about sunscreen btw). I’ve seen a significant improvement in my energy levels, with less highs and lows throughout the day.

Here are most of the recipes I’ve tried thus far. If there is a picture it goes with the recipe that follows. Many of the recipes have come from this fantastic site. A couple are from friends and a couple I just made up along the way. Here are hints – vary the greens, always add a medjool date if you need it sweeter, and fresh fruit requires some additional ice.

And to top it off, here is a little philosophy, a little religion, and a little poetry to feed your soul…

Not what we have But what we enjoy, constitutes our abundance.

The spirit cannot endure the body when overfed, but, if underfed, the body cannot endure the spirit.

~St Frances de Sales

“And when you crush an apple with your teeth, say to it in your heart:

Your seeds shall live in my body,

And the buds of your tomorrow shall blossom in my heart,

And your fragrance shall be my breath,

And together we shall rejoice through all the seasons.”

― Kahlil Gibran

As always,

GO with love!
